Miguel Alvarez | President

Miguel Alvarez is the owner of Don Camaron restaurants. He is a successful entrepreneur with a long history of helping the South Florida community. He attended and graduated from the University of Florida and the Florida Culinary Institute. Miguel Alvarez also sits on the board of the Dade County Chapter of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association.

Mark Srour | Vice President*

Mark Srour serves as Director of Business Development for Performance Foodservice Empire. He is instrumental in developing export client relationships throughout the Caribbean, Central and South America. He has a Bachelor of Food & Resource Economics from the University of Florida and a Masters of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
Carlos Segrera | Vice President*

Carlos Segrera serves as Vice President of Willis of Florida. He is responsible for growing the South Florida commercial insurance practice. He has a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mark Armero | Vice President*

Mark Armero serves as Regional Sales Manager Mass Merchandising Division for Southern Wine & Spirits. He is responsible for developing sales with the largest warehouse clubs. He has served on the foundation advisory board since 2009.

Michael R. Torres, CPA | Treasurer & Secretary

Michael R. Torres is a Certified Public Accountant and a partner with Perez-Abreu Aguerrebere Sueiro Torres, P.L. He provides audit, tax, risk and consulting services. He has a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Accounting from Florida International University. He has served as President for the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Cuban-American CPAs Association, Inc.
